Our mission
Models get smarter by the week, but their working context is still a short, disposable window. Kiomon's mission is to give every AI agent a durable second brain: a local-first knowledge graph where every fact, moment, and routine is captured once, cleaned, connected, and streamed back to the agent that needs it over native MCP.
We believe memory is the missing substrate of autonomous software. It is not about a slightly better prompt or a bigger context window, but a persistent brain the agent can rely on across sessions.
What we build
- A capture pipeline that saves work while you browse, code, and research.
- A living knowledge graph linking Moments, Facts, and Routines, color-coded by memory kind.
- Eight native MCP tools that let Claude, Cursor, and any MCP client read, write, and traverse memory.
- A Review Inbox so human-in-the-loop approvals keep agent proposals honest.
Everything is encrypted at rest, never used to train models, and exposed to your agents only through scoped, auditable tool calls.
Principles
- Local-first and private: Your memory is yours. We provide infrastructure, not a data brokerage.
- Open standards: Built on native MCP to eliminate proprietary vendor lock-in.
- Proven in production: Real pipelines, graphs, and MCP tools you can inspect and use right away.
The team
A small team of engineers who previously built large-scale data systems, who are now obsessed with one question: what does an agent need to be genuinely useful across a whole project, not just one session? We're passionate about local-first software, privacy, and the future of human–AI collaboration.
